Dalkia, a member of the France-based transnational group, Veolia Environnement, has operated in the Czech Republic since 1991. Dalkia is one of the most important producers and suppliers of thermal and electrical energy in the country and a provider of ancillary services to the national transmission system, Česká přenosová soustava.
In addition to heat and electricity, Dalkia produces and supplies cooling, compressed air, and other energy commodities. It also provides energy services to clients in the private and public sectors as well as the industrial and tertiary sectors. The Dalkia in the Czech Republic Group employs some 2,500 people.
