Heating
Dalkia Group’s core business in the Czech Republic is the production, distribution and supply of thermal energy. We supply district heating in an environmentally friendly manner to about 250,000 homes in the Moravia-Silesia, Olomouc, Central Bohemia, and Karlovy Vary regions and in Prague. In addition to the capital, we operate in Ostrava, Karviná, Petřvald, Havířov, Opava, Olomouc, Nový Jičín, Přerov, Frýdek-Místek, Krnov, Kolín, Mariánské Lázně, etc. We are able to guarantee the long-term development of the heat price in the towns and cities where we operate. Our customers also include industrial companies, health care and educational facilities, public institutions, and shopping and office centres.
For clients not connected to our district heating networks, we offer to assume responsibility for their heat and hot service water equipment under an operating agreement and process equipment lease. We conduct a non-binding technological and financial analysis of the installation and the current method of heat and hot service water production for the client’s needs and propose technological and organisational measures to optimise the entire chain from fuel sourcing to energy generation. If an agreement on cooperation is executed, Dalkia contractually guarantees the proposed savings, heat price, and reliability of the operated installation.
