Another six new jobs thanks to Dalkia Česká republika Foundation

The Board of Trusties of Dalkia Česká republika Foundation will support the formation of six new jobs in the Moravian-Silesian Region and the Olomouc Region. It adopted this decision at its meeting in Ostrava in April. Since its establishment in 2000, the foundation has supported the formation of 1,611 new jobs.

Dalkia launches the first district cooling network in the Czech Republic

Dalkia is launching the first district cooling network in the Czech Republic on 22 March, on the occasion of the opening of the Nová Karolina shopping and leisure centre in Ostrava. Dalkia was chosen as the provider of heating and cooling for the major retail, cultural and entertainment complex (with an area of 32 hectares) in the Czech Republic, as early as 2008. Dalkia decided to implement an innovative and highly-efficient solution to provide the air-conditioning on the premises of the Nová Karolina centre, via a district cooling network.

Dalkia extends its agreement with HC Vítkovice Steel

Today, Dalkia Česká republika renewed its confidence in HC Vítkovice Steel, an extra league ice hockey club, by extending the sponsorship agreement for the next five years. Dalkia has been a partner of Vítkovice ice hockey since 2001.

The construction of a new bio power plant was begun on the premises of Dalkia Česká republika’s Teplárna Frýdek-Místek today. The project is being implemented by EnergoFuture, a company with which Dalkia Česká republika concluded a long-term contract for the operation of a bio power plant with heat co-generation last year.
