Olterm&TD Olomouc

Olterm&TD Olomouc, a joint venture of Dalkia Česká republika (66%) and the City of Olomouc (34%), distributes heat and operates local boiler plants in and around Olomouc. It supplies heat to almost 26,000 homes, schools, and entities from the tertiary and commercial sectors. Since 1997, it has also operated Plavecký bazén Olomouc where Dalkia Česká republika and the City participated in a project of refurbishment and building new attractions, including Aquacentrum Delfínek.

At the end of 2010, Olterm&TD Olomouc successfully completed the deployment of the Integrated Management System pursuant to ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009; ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005 and ČSN OHSAS 18001:2008, another major step in the process of continuous quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety improvements.

AmpluServis

AmpluServis has extensive experience in services associated with the repair, maintenance, refurbishment, and installation of energy equipment (boilers, pumps, fans, steam turbines, generators, heating pipelines, steam pipelines, etc.) in heat & power plants and power stations as well as in the chemical, petrochemical, food, metallurgical and other industries. It also provides expert services (inspections of listed electrical, pressure, gas, and hoisting equipment), chemical services (primarily analyses of fuels, and industrial water and oil), vibration diagnostics services, thermovision, weld X-ray diagnostics, etc.

AmpluServis holds the ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009, ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005, and ČSN OHSAS 18001:2008 certificates. The company has an inspection body in place for inspection procedures regarding boilers, pressure vessels, and vibration diagnostics, which is accredited by the Czech Accreditation Institute (ČIA). Its customers include the parent company, Dalkia Česká republika, and the sister company, Dalkia Kolín, as well as ČKD Praha DIZ, ADM Prague, Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery, ArcelorMittal Ostrava, Dalkia Industry Žiar nad Hronom, Knauf Insulation, etc.

Dalkia Kolín

Dalkia Kolín produces heat in an environmentally friendly manner and supplies it to more than 8,000 homes, and also various authorities, organisations, schools and industrial clients in the town. The company supplies thermal energy in the form of steam on the primary side and hot water on the secondary side. It also produces electricity in cogeneration and in a small hydroelectric power station on the River Labe while supplying process steam for local chemical and food companies. Since 2008, it has been providing ancillary services to ČEPS.

Dalkia Kolín carried out two major capital investment projects in 2010, amounting to over CZK 100 million in total: a new, completely roofed gravity fuel unloading site and a new closed fuel storage facility, storage silos. The two modern facilities have made it possible to eliminate coal dust and noise emissions from coal storage, effectively improving the environment in the town. Major customers include the distribution company MTH Kolín, TPCA, Paramo – Kolín Centre, Bioferm Kolín, and Správa městských sportovišť Kolín. Dalkia Kolín was recertified to ČSN EN ISO 9001 and ČSN EN ISO 14001 in 2010.

Dalkia Mariánské Lázně

Dalkia Mariánské Lázně is the producer and supplier of heat for more than 3,300 homes in Mariánské Lázně and a number of customers in the spa, health, and hotel sectors. They include the well-known Falkensteiner Grand Spa Hotel Marienbad and Nemocnice Mariánské Lázně. In addition to a central generating plant and primary networks, the company leased in 2010, and operated since, the secondary networks and exchanger stations under a long-term contract, thanks to which it has greatly solidified the position of district heating in the town.

Thus, Dalkia Mariánské Lázně manages the entire thermal system from generation to distribution to end users, which translates in practice into heat and hot service water supplies directly to customers at much better prices. In addition to heat generation and distribution, Dalkia Mariánské Lázně also produces electricity in cogeneration. The company was recertified to ČSN OHSAS 18001 in 2007.

Dalkia Industry CZ

Dalkia Industry CZ (formerly NWR Energy) is Dalkia Group’s latest acquisition in the Czech Republic and has been part of the group since June 2010. The company is Dalkia’s global reference in mining operations and industry. The reason is that the company is the exclusive supplier of all types of energy required for the industrial activities of its chief customer - the Czech Republic’s largest mining business, OKD. Dalkia Industry CZ supplies and distributes electricity and produces heat, hot water, and compressed air for OKD mines through transfer points on the surface.

The long-term cooperation envisages supplies of approximately 2 billion m³ of compressed air, 1 million GJ of heat, and 900,000 GWh of electricity per year. The amount of compressed air supply makes Dalkia one of the largest suppliers of the commodity worldwide. In addition, the company supplies environmentally friendly heat to 21,000 flats in northern Moravia, in particular Ostrava, Havířov, and Karviná, and also to businesses and the public sector.
